This November, learn about getting work in Audio Description for the Blind with Colleen Connor and Roy Samuelson

Audio Description was created by blind people for blind people to experience visual content. Museums, national parks, live and virtual theater, instructional videos, and of course, entertainment all benefit from accessibility for blind and low vision audiences. In TV and film, Roy Samuelson has voiced over 1000 audio description titles and has honed his years of coaching to focus on the nuance of this high-wire act performance, and the skills required to craft an immersive experience for blind and low vision audiences. Roy and Colleen Connor will offer up to 6 participants to get “up to mic” to work in real-time with production audio and video.

Auditors can mute and play along, and gain some real-world knowledge and ideas for pursuing their own unique skills to contribute to audio description quality and excellence. With their professional guidance and a supportive and encouraging environment, you can test out your own approach to audio description. For blind and low vision performers, screen-readable or braille text docs are available in advance and other specific accessibility.

PLEASE NOTE: This special workout is limited to SIX participants only!
