Auditioning for Video Games

In this class, students will learn actionable ways to improve their video game auditions. We’ll talk about your home voiceover studio setup, as well as adjusting techniques to get the best presence and sound for each audition. As a bonus for this upcoming class, we’ll have actress & engineer extraordinaire, Judy Alice Lee, joining us to add to the more technical aspects.

Finally, we’ll discuss strategies on how to best network and up your game in “pandemicland”.

Students will be asked to submit an audition as well as fill out our home studio form prior to class and will be given feedback during the class. (No judgment on your setup! Just helps us understand what we’re working with and make recommendations.)

You don’t need to be in your studio for the class, just have a reliable internet connection and a noise-free place to participate. Cameras on, please!

Duration: 2-hrs

EXTRA ADD ON – for $50 you can get a 30 min consultation with engineer & actor extraordinaire Judy Lee on your setup. This will be scheduled individually after the class.
