Born and raised in Reykjavík, Ari Eldjárn stars in the Netflix hit Pardon My Icelandic. He has made numerous TV specials, sold out the National Theatre for months on end, mixed comedy and classical music with the Icelandic National Symphony, enjoyed critically acclaimed runs at international festivals, written for popular shows and performed with comedy greats. Ari first performed stand-up in 2009, recorded his first comedy album by the end of that year, and by early 2010 was in such demand that he quit his day job to become a full time comedian and tour extensively across Scandinavia.
