One Voice Conference

ATTENTION!

We are currently in times of such uncertainty and all of us here at One Voice are hoping you are your families are doing well.

For those of you that were unable to make our live Facebook broadcast this evening, we wanted to let you know that we have some good news and some bad news regarding the One Voice Conference and One Voice Awards.

Let’s start with the bad news, both events will no longer be taking place on May 7th – May 10th which we are incredibly sad to announce. We have been working closely with The Hilton (who have been brilliant) and yesterday came to the decision that this is the most sensible option given the current situation we all face.

But that’s not all. We do have good news to share that we hope will brighten this darkened time somewhat.

Firstly the One Voice Awards.

The Awards will still take place, in person, at the same hotel. But will be postponed. Our aim is to announce a new date shortly, which we are hoping will be in September. We are working tirelessly with the hotel to arrange this and we will announce the new date as soon as we have it.

All ticket holders will have their tickets immediately transferred to the new date, and we will be offering full refunds for those needed.

Secondly, One Voice Conference.

The conference will continue on the same dates, 7th – 10th May 2020, but will instead take place entirely online. Making One Voice the World’s First LIVE Online Voiceover Conference!

We will be using the ReAttendance platform in order to do this, which enables us to live stream each talk and then make them available to watch in replay from straight after.

The same ticket types will apply (i.e. full weekend, Friday & Saturday) but these will now be priced at 50% their original value.

We will be reviewing our workshops and paid workshops to determine which can still take place online, any that can’t will be refunded. Otherwise, the same price will apply.

We are hoping to confirm that all of our speakers will be able to join us in this venture, but due to the fast paced nature of this decision we are yet to confirm this and will keep you up to date with all information.

What Happens Now?

If you no longer wish to attend, we will give you a full refund. But we hope you will consider joining us on this exciting new venture – a truly global online voiceover conference.

In the coming days we will send out a survey to all ticket holders, inviting you to stay (and get 50% refund) or cancel (and get a full refund).

We will also keep you up to date with our confirmed speakers, sponsors and workshops, as and when we have that information.

And as an extra little bonus, anyone who has a ticket to OVC 2020 will also get free access to the 2018 & 2019 conferences via ReAttendance, after the conference has taken place.

A huge thanks to our sponsors who have helped get us this far and are showing great solidarity with this transition. And an even bigger thanks to you, for your continued support and positive messages.

During times like this, it is a great reminder of the outstanding community we are all a part of.

Stay safe, stay happy!

We really hope to see you online with us in May!!

A huge thanks from Hugh, Peter and the whole One Voice Team.
