Casting Workbook is pleased to announce our next Livestream: The Working Actor: How to Develop Award Winning Performances with Actor Karine Vanasse, this Friday, March 19th at 12pm Pacific Time / 3pm Eastern Time.

Award-winning Canadian actress Karine Vanasse is internationally recognized for her dazzling performances in both English and French. Most recently, Karine starred as Detective Lise Delorme in the critically acclaimed CTV series Cardinal for which she was honoured with 2019 and 2020 Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress. Other notable television credits include the ABC series Revenge and Pan Am. On the big screen, Vanasse widely known for her role as Valerie in Denis Villeneuve’s, Polytechnique. She was the driving force behind the film and also served as producer. The film premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and went on to win nine Genie Awards including Best Picture, and to Vanasse for Best Female Performance.

The Working Actor is a weekly interview series bringing top industry professionals directly to an audience of participating actors live online who want to be a part of the conversation and learn from the best. This one-hour livestream event is free to Casting Workbook Members as well as actors worldwide.
