In cooperation with the Sennheiser Sound Academy, Neumann will be offering free detailed webinars on the basics of microphone technology in the coming weeks. In three one-hour sessions, trainer John McGregor will discuss all important aspects of Neumann studio microphones: Starting with the most important theoretical principles, through practical tips and application hints, to product care and maintenance.
In these times, this is an excellent opportunity to expand or refresh your own knowledge. The first session will be available on Friday, April 3 at three different times (8.30, 13.30 and 18.00 CET). The other two sessions will follow on April 17 and 24. All these webinars are in English.
For many years, the company also built highly customized sound production units for radio studios, theaters and concert halls. In the year 1991 Neumann became an important part of the Sennheiser Group.
The company headquarters, with the development, marketing, sales and service departments, continues to be located in Berlin, where the 75th anniversary of the company was celebrated in 2003 and the 80th anniversary in 2008.
