Whether in the prep stages or at the deliver stage, there are specific tactics voice talent should employ in order to get into a character’s head and develop his voice. We’ll focus on developing your skills in creating and refining character dialogue, with a heavy focus on vocal flexibility and range, so you can mimic all of the exciting accents heard in fiction audiobooks.
This class will focus on an exploration of acting and vocal techniques designed to strengthen and expand the audiobook narrator’s approach to character development, storytelling, vocal flexibility and range, using her personal “vocal layering technique” to develop character specificity and differentiation in fiction narration.
