As Senior Producer for network television, I’ve been in charge of promo campaigns for a multitude of shows. One of my jobs is to direct and discover voice-over talent. That’s my point-of-view with my private lessons — the perspective of the on-air producer.

What are the elements we’re looking for in choosing a voice-over for a new project? How can you make your self-directed audition stand out from the 50 other people doing the same audition?   What are the secrets to becoming successful in the promo end of the business?

I have been working in the trailer and promo world for the past 25 years. In my early days, I had the pleasure to direct such legends as Don Lafontaine and Don Pardo. Now, I have the privilege of working with some of today’s voice-over legends, such as Rino Romano, Mike McColl and Zac Fine.

I feel I have a unique and specific approach in helping voice-over talent improve their promo skills. It’s a super competitive business. Everyone needs an edge. I can help you get there.
