The Pasadena Convention Center, formerly called the Pasadena Center, is located near City Hall, Central Library, Police Department and other civic buildings that make up the Pasadena Civic Center District. The convention center itself is a complex comprised of four buildings where events take place. The original structure, the Pasadena Civic Auditorium was erected in 1932; then in 1970s the Pasadena Center was built around the historic auditorium which included a Conference Center Building with meeting rooms, an Exhibit Hall and Ballroom Building with much larger spaces to accommodate trade shows and large banquets; and the Pasadena Ice Skating Center found a new home on this site. The campus also houses the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau (also known as Visit Pasadena), a Starbucks, a visitors center and a hotel.
The Pasadena Convention Center has been awarded LEED® Gold Certification, making it one of the greenest convention centers in North America.
The Pasadena Convention Center specializes in large corporate events, conventions, private banquets, receptions, and trade or consumer shows.
The Abaton Calendar is a resource created for and by voice talent, to help create meaningful connections and forge and maintain professional and personal relationships. (And hopefully, have a hell of a lot of fun in the process).
