August E. Grant, Ph.D. is an award-winning professor who splits his time between consulting with media organizations and teaching graduate courses in management and communication at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Grant has spent the last three decades helping aspiring communication professionals prepare for successful careers and advancement in media industries.
His impressive list of current and former clients includes:  Fox Television Network; Verizon; Technology Futures, Inc.; the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences; and 2Wire, Inc.
Dr. Grant is co-author of Principles of Convergent Journalism, as well as Understanding Media Convergence and Framing Public Life. He is past president of the Broadcast Education Association and the Texas Association of Broadcast Educators.
