Voicing animation characters is like stepping into a magic kingdom of possibilities. It’s exhilarating, whimsical and magical.
The sentimental place in our hearts where the memory of Disney Characters live, connects all of us.
The VoiceOver Network will be running this very special 3-hour online workshop, ’POWER-UP Your Animation Auditions stand out’ with Jennifer Trujillo.
As voice actors auditioning is one of our most important jobs. In this workshop Jennifer works 1-2-1 with just 10 voice actors. Jennifer will supply scripts before hand to prepare and then you will work with her on your read. Additionally, you will get to watch other actors take her direction.
This is an incredible opportunity to work with and get tailored feedback from a Disney Casting Director.
Jennifer Trujillo joined Walt Disney Television Animation in 2010 as a casting coordinator, cutting her teeth on series like “Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil,” “Motorcity,” and “Tron: Uprising.” She has since risen to her current role as director of casting and talent relations, where she handles the creative casting and talent booking for multiple series on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, and the Disney + streaming platform. The include “Mickey Mouse Shorts,” “Amphibia,” and “Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur.” Jennifer has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on “Elena of Avalor.”
