Characters & Commercials

In this 2 hour class – limited in size to 10 attendees, Voice Actress and Executive Producer, Val Kelly will offer hands on instruction on how to create characters. Val will provide all of the scripts, photos and info needed for the session to attendees beforehand. Each attendee will have the chance to perform at least twice and get immediate feedback. We will look at applying improv skills to improve your auditions and will practice going over the top on commercial reads and then bringing the read back down to a “normal” level in order to add versatility and hopefully book more work. Even if you have taken a class like this from Val before, you will still learn a lot because every session has different attendees, different scripts, and so every session is different.
