Finding the Fun in VO for Animation
This class is for all levels of voice actors who seek to have MORE FUN with your animation copy.
Join us as voice actor and director, Kirsten Day shows how to take any piece of copy and turn it from ‘just okay’ to ‘Really FUN!”. Kirsten helps you find self-confidence, break down personal barriers and teaches the importance of ad-libbing in every piece of animation copy.
During the class, students will receive 2 animation scripts and be encouraged to take risks, be bold, adlib, and have fun. Kirsten will encourage you to raise the stakes and push through the boundaries that have built up over time.
She will also take you through a quick vocal warm-up in order to maintain vocal health while recording even the loudest characters. This will include focusing on breath support, diction, and nasal resonators. (If you don’t know what those are, that’s okay, YOU WILL!)
By the end of class, we hope you will find a new sense of strength and confidence as you move forward in your voiceover career!
