Camps meet online for 3 hours and 15 minutes daily.

- Voice-Over Acting with a Professional Voice-Over Actor
- Sitcom Acting with an On-Camera Actor
- Acting Lab with a Stage & Screen Casting Director

Wednesday: Voice-Over Acting with a Prominent Voice-Over Actor
Voice-over acting is unlike any other type of acting and requires an actor to make bold, gutsy choices that are original, specific, and outside of the box! Learn how to create living, breathing characters for cartoons and animated feature films, commercials, and radio spots!
Thursday: Sitcom Acting with a Prominent TV Actor
Learn the very specific tone in which sitcoms are written so that you can make the right acting choices in the audition room and on set. Rehearse comedic scenes from hit Disney & Nick shows alongside a scene partner! Learn how to Land Jokes, Make Turns and Bring Out the Funny in the Audition Room and On Set!
Friday: Acting Lab with a Stage & Screen Casting Director
This class is great for the singer and the non-singer! A Stage and Screen Casting Director will work with you on your audition technique. Receive amazing individual feedback and coaching on either a 32 bar song cut or a one minute monologue from a major industry pro! Ever wanted to know what the casting directors behind the desk are thinking? Now’s your chance! A top Casting Pro will give you invaluable insight into the world of auditions.
- Singers can choose to use a backing track or sing a cappella.
- Interested in purchasing a professional performance track? Email us your sheet music 24-48 hours in advance of the class, and we will send you a professional performance track for only $25! Purchase here!
- Need a monologue? Email us after registration and we will send one over.
Supplemental Materials
In addition to our classes, campers will be provided with educational videos, lessons from ACANY’s archive, helpful articles and more to explore independently after camp hours.
Participants will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a front-facing camera. You will be sent an access link that can be used via your browser or the free ZOOM app.
