In this workshop you will discuss what “Local Retail” is and how it sounds compared to commercial. You will focus on all things “local”. This is the category that keeps you working daily, and is the most consistant work in voiceover, but the most overlooked category! This will be a deep dive into the business side of how to obtain local retail work.
About Your Instructor:
Roger started off his career as a recording artist in the late 80’s early 90’s. After music ran it’s course and years working regular jobs he found his way back into the arts as a producer at an ad agency. It was there he cut his teeth and molded his skills as a voice artist. Roger has been a regular voice for Nickelodeon since 2007, voiced long term campaigns for The CW as the voice of RIVERDALE, L.A. Complex and I SHIP IT, DISNEY, Sprint, FORD, Jose Cuervo, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Residence Inn/Marriot, GOOGLE, Destiny, Purina, REDD’s, Dremel, Toyota, Xfinity/Comcast, Lucas Film, and Humminbird to name a few.
