The time has finally arrived for The Voice Actors of NYC to safely gather outdoors in-person in Riverside Park’s Crab Apple Grove for a picnic and social gathering. Hooray!
Bring a blanket, bring a chair, bring a frisbee, bring a baseball glove, bring your favorite picnic foods and beverages…and most importantly, bring yourselves as we finally share in the opportunity to see each other once again IRL!
IMPORTANT: The Voice Actors of NYC Board has decided that in order to keep our community safe and healthy, we are designating this a “vaccination-only” event.
We are holding everyone to the honesty policy in that those who take part in this event need to be vaccinated. We will not be checking for Covid vaccination cards or negative Covid test results. Please do not attend if have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 10 days or are experiencing a fever, a headache, a cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.
We will be providing masks, hand-sanitizer, as well as different colored nametags to indicate social distancing preferences and we strongly encourage everyone to come masked. Please make your decision to attend based on your health and personal level of comfort participating in large gatherings.
In case of rain the day of the picnic, we will be gathering on Zoom instead with a login link to follow.
More VANYC online classes and workshops are on the horizon for those who would prefer to maintain distance for now.
