Voiceover Self Direction One Day Workshop with Kathleen Puls Andrade (Second City Training Center VO Instructor, VO Talent at Grossman and Jack Talent Chicago, Pandora, Video Game VO with Dominic Cianciolo, The Voiceover Gymnasium, etc.)
Directing oneself is essential in this super competitive business, and doing it well could mean getting the job, or doing the job well from home if you have minimal or no direction. We’ll also be reading and recording your copy and you’ll get a copy of your work.
(Best for Advanced Beginners to Advanced. Please have some training and/or experience. This is not a class for rank beginners. See Registration Terms and Conditions)
Special Guest Instructor, Marketing Professional Mary Puls, who gives you the view from the client side and what they’re looking for.

What people are saying:
Loved it, the class flew by! I would recommend it to anyone in voiceover. . So much useful information which provide the tools I need to direct myself. I now have a checklist for myself based on the info. Excellent value. VO is an expensive endeavor and understandable because of the tech. But this was a great value! I so enjoyed the day.
-Livia Treviño; Actor (Will and Grace, Geico, etc), Voiceover, Los Angeles
I really enjoyed this course! It was a great refresher on script analysis, POV, and taking direction. I think it was really successful in answering the questions that people put forth at the beginning of the day, as well as addressing the ones that came up later. And in addition to being helpful, it was also just a lot of fun. I’ve already recommended this class to others!
-Anne S., Voiceover, Actor, Chicago
The branding portion was one of the most important parts of the class. It helped me to see the perspective of a branding manager and focus on the items that they look at with regard to their company’s branding.

This was invaluable and an EXCELLENT value. I found it a very good primer on brand marketing and I think it allows the student to look at the process holistically which helps to find what they are looking for from us. Your classes are always very reasonable and therefore manageable for someone who is on a budget. THANK YOU! -Suzanne W., Hollywood
