All participants will get the opportunity to have a go at voicing a promo script to music and receive live direction from Sam. If you’d rather just observe, that’s okay too! You can turn your camera off when you’re voicing, it’s all about what you can hear!
Sam is an award-winning creative director and voice actor. BBC-trained and with over 25 years of broadcast experience, she’s devised and directed thousands of TV, radio and cinema campaigns for major broadcasters including the BBC, Sky, ITV, UKTV, Discovery, RTÉ and Canal+. Sam was Creative Head for BBC Two, BBC News, Discovery Europe and UK Gold. She also launched the BBC’s first digital channels – CBBC and CBeebies – and was Creative Head for BBC Children’s and Learning for over 10 years – directing talent, kids, puppets, cartoon characters and even astronauts live from space!
As a director, Sam has won over 30 awards including Kinsale Sharks, Eurovision Connect and 13 Promax Golds. She’s also the podcast host of “Talking Creative – the Art of Voiceover Directing”.
