Audiobook Narrators know they’re not supposed to actually sing a song in their recording due to copyright laws (unless it’s an original song written by the author and you have permission) but have you ever tried to ‘speak’ a popular song that everyone knows and loves without adding any kind of melody??? Nearly impossible. Why? And what does this have to do with the way we talk to ourselves? Maybe because the ‘song’ we have playing in the background is sooooo embedded (like any earworm) it’s tough to get it to stop repeating. In this episode, I’ll give you tips on how to change or at least ‘quiet’ the song in your head.
