​Carolyn Jania is an alumnus of the Groundlings Sunday Company and co-creator of comedy pop duo, Schmab.

Carolyn Jania grew up in Munster, Indiana even though she tells people she’s from Chicago.  At age 15, she started studying at Second City Chicago and resumed her studies there after receiving her BA in Theatre from Butler University.  She’s also an alumnus of UCB’s Advanced Study Program and former iO West (RIP) Mainstage Sketch Team writer/ performer. She also enjoys saying, “alumnus.”
