Voice Talent / Coach / Keynote Speaker
I’ve lived in Montréal since 1975 when my Father took a job teaching at McGill University. It was just a short drive north for us from Hartford, CT through the Green Mountains of Vermont to arrive here, to what they call the “Paris of North America”. I ended up falling in love with the city, the culture, the action and a nice French Canadian lady who I married and now share 2 sons with.
Even before I graduated from Concordia University with my BA in Communications, I was already working in broadcasting first in radio (FM96, MIX 96, Q92) but also TV (The Weather Network). Click here to watch a humorous sneak peak of what it was like working on air at Q92 Montréal. [video] And click here to see some pictures of me on The Weather Network and with some well known friends.
Over the last 25+ years, I’ve proved I’m Canada’s hardest working voice actor, for radio imaging and TV promos, for commercials, corporate teaching, e-learning, content marketing and now video games like NFL 2014 and Derek Jeter Real Baseball! I’ve sold every product you could imagine, from military weaponry to bathroom tissue.
I work out of my professionally equipped home studio for national and international clients and in various studios around Montréal with my local clients. Listen to some of my demos and discover why so many broadcast companies and Fortune 500 companies trust me to get their message across.
The Abaton Calendar is a resource created for and by voice talent, to help create meaningful connections and forge and maintain professional and personal relationships. (And hopefully, have a hell of a lot of fun in the process).
