Aven (rhymes “haven”) Shore-Kind has narrated over 250 books for publishers and independent authors, including duet, dual, and multicast productions.
She loves to narrate non-fiction and literature, historical fiction, litRPG and sci-fi/fantasy, YA and romance/erotica, and thrives on voicing stories of indomitable heroines, strength and survival … and dragons!
Narrating fuels my lifelong and voracious appetite for reading and learning, and I’m just deeply in love with writing and storytelling. Ever since I learned to read, almost all of my transformation and growth has come from books, so my appreciation for the power and potential of words is vast!
My personal interests run to alternative, sustainable and organic agriculture and animal husbandry; feminist, sexuality and gender identity issues; productivity and brain science; history, linguistics, and all things Icelandic.
Aven lives in the off-grid tiny house she built on her secluded woodlot and heritage orchard in maritime Canada. When not in the booth she can be found on the forest farm building stuff, tending her beehives, or gardening under the keen supervision of a free-range flock of nosy chickens, always with an audiobook in her ears!
Also she has written two books.
The Abaton Calendar is a resource created for and by voice talent, to help create meaningful connections and forge and maintain professional and personal relationships. (And hopefully, have a hell of a lot of fun in the process).
