November’s Gym focuses on accents of the Caribbean and West Indies. Using native speaker audio as our foundation, we’ll explore dialects of Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and Haiti. In addition to individual and group practice, there will be time for text/monologue work and audiobook narration simulation.
Accent Gym is an intimate, ongoing group class to support your dialect work. We meet thrice monthly for accent instruction and practice, as well as group discussion. In addition to the monthly theme, we allocate time for critique of outside work and general discussion about best practices.
