This performance-based class will help students approach auditions more effectively, and give them tools and techniques to use for future submissions and win more jobs.
Class Length: Two Hours
Working voice actors agree that delivering a great performance in the recording studio with a director is the easy part of their job – getting chosen over dozens of other actors as the voice for a project is much more difficult.
At the heart of winning jobs is delivering successful auditions. As more voice over casting continues to move to online platforms, voice actors are expected to record quality performances in their home studios with little or no direction from the client or the casting director.
In this high energy, interactive class (delivered either in-studio or via online webinar); students read actual scripts as if they were real auditions for live critique by a qualified Edge Studio coach.
At the conclusion of this class, students will:
- Be better prepared to take a script and deliver a winning performance
- Gain essential skills to self-direct auditions, and to self-critique their performances to improve them prior to submission
