John the Voice Talent
With a vocal age ranging between 30 & 60 and a flexible tone that ranges from:
I’m your cool Dad, fun teacher, and supportive friend.
To ensure that I only deliver the absolute best reads for your projects, I’ve trained with some of the best voice talent, voiceover studios, and coaches in the biz:
But, I’ve also spent an entire career inspiring adult learners in other ways.
John the Learning Professional
As a former corporate trainer/facilitator for over 20 years, I have engaged, entertained, and educated audiences from all over the world. At last count, I’d personally taught or trained over 50,000 learners from more than 70 countries. And as a former corporate training manager/director, I’ve led the development of curricula for many, many more.
I’ve also been a learning strategist supporting major global brands with their eLearning, training, customer experience, and culture change efforts. And, I am a certified Master Trainer through the Association for Talent Development, as well as an American Business Award-winning instructional designer.
I am a lifelong learner, a two-time graduate student (MA program in Adult Instruction & Performance Technology — University of Michigan; MEd program in Learning Design & Technology — Wayne State University), and was briefly an Adjunct Professor of Global Learning at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
But, most importantly, I am fanatically passionate about the critical role that emotional engagement plays in learning. One of the many reasons that I love VO so much!
John can help!
If you’re a learning professional creating content for online learners, a marketing or communications specialist trying to break through to a corporate audience, or a big thinker with a great idea or a new product to explain, I know what it takes to do that voodoo that you do so well. So, if you’re desperately seeking a compelling voice to bring your awesome work to life, give me a jingle. I admire what you do like no one else can and I’d love to help!
The Abaton Calendar is a resource created for and by voice talent, to help create meaningful connections and forge and maintain professional and personal relationships. (And hopefully, have a hell of a lot of fun in the process).
