Hello!
I’m Anita Gilbert, the founder of Speakeasy Voice & Accent Coaching.
I trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts London (ALRA), on their 3year Professional Actor’s course and also hold an MA(Dist) from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Professional Voice Practice.
I acted professionally in TV, film radio and commercial before going on to work as an agent for PHPM, securing high profile work for my clients.
The main focus of my work today is helping clients to develop their voices for stage and screen; including approaching text, getting them audition ready, helping them explore character once in a role or nailing that tricky accent.
I am voice & accent coach at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire – Acting Dept and is also on the panel of examiners at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art)
