Good Game is the improv training company founded by Geoff Grimwood to give a formal face to the work he’s been doing since 2009, and preparing for since 2002.
Good Game is named for the final moment of any sports game you played in as a kid, when both teams lined up, and you high-fived every member of the other team and said,
“Good game.”
Acknowledging that even though you were in competition, you were all working towards the same goal: A good time, some exercise, some growth, and a lot of fun.
Corporate cultures can benefit from some internal competition — as long as everyone keeps clear on where it belongs, where it doesn’t, and that even with it, all are ultimately working towards the same goal.
Good Game gives participants the chance to set aside any competition and try on the open, collaborative approach that makes improv work, and keeps competition productive.
The Abaton Calendar is a resource created for and by voice talent, to help create meaningful connections and forge and maintain professional and personal relationships. (And hopefully, have a hell of a lot of fun in the process).
